BIO was founded by Dr. Federica Pericle, our principal consultant. Dr. Pericle brings over 18 years of drug discovery and development experience combined with the financial understanding of the biopharmaceutical market.
Before establishing BIO consulting business, Dr. Pericle was the Director of Oncology Program at Valentis, Inc. (formerly Genemedicine) in The Woodlands, Texas.
She has also worked as Senior Scientist at the National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, MD and published over 40 scientific articles in peer-review journals and filed four patents on cancer immunotherapy.
Dr. Pericle has led the research development of 10 product candidates for the treatment of cancer, five of which were tested in different stages of clinical trials.
Based on her research and related activities, Dr. Pericle is well acquainted with FDA regulations, clinical trial design and the overall strategy on how to move a product from research into clinical development.
